Thats what happens when you take them out in the yard to play with them.

Seriously If I want to put a wsh on a model I make my own from artist oils and some terpenoid.

...I use it almost exclusively....sticks to the model well, wipes off well, does not stain and can be mixed to a specific shade. Great stuff and nice people to boot.

Check the Vallejo site...they have the washes (I think they are listed as "auxiliaries"). Also, check the gamer section or sites for a product line "Secret Weapon"...they have washes, too.

I just can't see wasting money on something I can make essentially for free in virtually unlimited quantities. To each his own I guess...

Remember when we would get a couple chuncks of wood with instructions to carve out your model to look like this. Do we want to go back there?

the only better way I can think to make money in the hobby would be coming up with some "indispensable idea", based on old kit sprues

the raw materials purchasing dept would love it

"honey, yes, I really do need 48 Super Hornets, the company is running low on materials"

Rex

one from each squadron??,,"geeez Rex, how many display cases will that take up?"

I bought a box of 15 Watercolours for £2.99, add water and a little washing up liquid to the desired consistency.

An almost endless supply in any colour or shade you want at VERY low price
