Here`s my 1/48 scale Revell, PV-1 Ventura

done as an a/c of VPB-135, `Blind Foxes`, serving at Attu in the Aleutian Islands

Flying `Empire Express` Photo-recon ( i can`t spell reconnaissance ) missions and night bombing

mostly out of the box with just seatbelts, aerial wires, brass tube for the nose gun blast tubes...
<a href="http://s1181.photobucket.com/albums/x43 ... M_5027.jpg" rel="nofollow">border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
wire ignition harness, scratch built nose D/F loop, Loon Models Propellors and kit decals used

apart from a few assembly boo boo`s on my behalf only the bomb doors were a bit of a battle to get aligned

hope you enjoy

Even without most of the aftermarket resin doo-dads, it still looks great. The antenna wires do a lot for the look of the model too.

Thanks for posting!
