Airfix 1/72 Spitire MK.I (early)

Not much to report, SFTB, kit goes together like clockwork, a few builder induced gaffs as a result of ring rustiness, minimal weathering (f0or a change) and the final finish is Humbrol 49 from a spray can (the Hornby era stuff). The roundel combo is odd but correct, 19 Sqn had all sorts of variations at the time.

you could have posted it as 1/48 scale and we would have believed you Jonathan...

I've never seen this marking combo before. The painting is really spot on. It looks to be at least 1/48th. Well done!

I'm impressed with your finish, especially having done the same kit myself. Very nice...
