Airfix 1/72 scale Victor gets some paint...

More progress...masking and painting of the uppers has been done. There are some minor glitches that need touching up but surprisingly few considering the size and complexity of the model. Maybe I have finally caught a break on this build!  😉

Mr.Paint Medium Sea Gray with Mr.color RAF Dark Green. Since taking the photos i have light sanded the model with 4000 grit micromesh to smooth out the surfaces and remove and "step" between the two colors. I'll be using decals from the kit and the Xtradecal Victor sheet.

That is looking super Joe. Very neat masking and that landing gear sure is well done. I recently sold my Matchbox kit including the associated Flightpath set when I heard Airfix was releasing this. Have not picked up the Airfix kit as yet though.

Curious to know if that the Tamiya Flexible tape your using to edge the camouflage demarcation
