I am binging on Me-262 new tools, Revell, Academy, HobbyBoss, so what better time to finish off my stash of classic kits and use up some decal sheets:

Great idea - set up a production line with a three-colour spray booth at the end - like where you are going with this one.

Always doing it the hard way. I plan to compare enamels from Humbrol, Mr. Paint, Mr. Color, Model Master, Aeromaster, Floquil (I have a few VERY old jars of paint)
Here is the proposed line-up:
Revell new tool Nowotny  White 8; Hasegawa Galland  << +; HobbyBoss Stigler White 3;  New Airfix Weissenberger kit decal;  Academy Baer Red 13; Jo-han Welter Red 10; Frog  White F (one of the original options, but with new decals);  Old Airfix Yellow 3, new kit decal with blue and white checker; Revell old tool White 34; Matchbox Hohagen White 2;  Heller 262B Czypionka Red 8; New Revell 262B Altner Red 12

Not to go all-out AMS, but I did cut away the solid undersections and will place a modicum of detail using a contour gauge to form several bulkheads, and bits of plastic tubing to represent the portion of the interior visible from below.  I am using the newer-tool Revell as a guess'emplate.

Here are the Airfix, Frog, and Matchbox kits in a scattered array, then primed and needing engines.
Some cockpit detail added, will never be visible through the thick kit canopies 😟

Airfix Old Tool Me-262 with a coat of Humbrol 83 over 76  with Metalcote Aluminum on the front of the nacelles.
Ready for gloss coat, decals, unmasking, and landing gear.
