My first thought was to do something that is not normally covered in typical Group Builds and Classic Airfix.

I picked this up at a swap meet a few years back and it fits my parameters.

All parts seem to be there

So I am going to give this a go, It was in 1971 I did my last build of this kit at that time it was a new release

Looks like some fun ahead for me

Cheers

Fantastic choice! I love the oddness/asymetry of this production aircraft.

Good choice Fred. I built one in the early days of the classic kit forum and it came out OK. I still have it, but Photobucket ate my photo.

Got to admit I am still working out the best way to do progress reports.

So the weekend effort

The basic interior provided in the kit is well blah!

P6173263.JPG I not a great lover of the dining chair look

So I scratched up something a bit different

P6173264.JPG P6173265.JPG Getting grubby with all the grey putty and sanding, but I think the interior is basically there

Cheers

Great choice Fred - I don't think I have seen one of these built since the 1970s. Looking forward to your work on her.
