A couple of weeks ago I asked about a dead flat finish..

because I was getting a sheen on my final coat. And many of hand recommendations, some which worked with Dullcoat (my flat finish of choice), but the best one is the Alclad Flat finish cote. That stuff works as advertised and I think I will switch to that for now. Thanks a lot for your suggestions

... is, at least in my experience, if you hold the model too long, it gets tacky. It doesn't leave fingerprints or anything, but as you remove your fingers, they kind of stick just a bit. I solve this by spraying a thin coat of MM Acryl over the Alclad Flat.

But I know I'm in the minority.

I still get a finish that's closer to satin than I would like with dullcote and I really don't like how the alclad airbrushes.
