'75 Chevy Monte Carlo?

I've not posted on Car Chat before but...
A colleague has recently bought a 1975
Chevy Monte Carlo and wants a model of it.
Does one exist?
I searched British model shops on line &
only found a '78 from China,Surely AMT
or Revell must have done one?
Or has he got the year wrong?
Any help appreciated.
Many Thanks
Pete

There is a "77" in Plastic from Revell as a snap kit. In reality it's more correct as a 76 the way its molded. Main difference between it and a 75 is it's twin square headlights vs the single round headlights of the 73-75 Monte Carlo's. You would also need to modify the tailights slightly.

For that Guys.
The mod's don't seem too difficult,
I have plenty of spare car parts.
Now all I have to do is find a kit!
All the best

Yep it shouldn't be too difficult to back-date it.Be advised you will have to cut open the hood and upgrade the chassis. Here it is as it comes in the box! [/IMG]

Very useful pictures, thank you.
If I can get hold of the kit
(& I've searched a couple of US sites too)
then I can make use of them.
A guy on Britmodeller has tipped me off
to a possible shop so I'm waiting for word
from there.
No doubt there are plenty of pics of the real thing
on line I can also use as reference.
(I've been building (whisper it) mostly aircraft
for a few years now but still have a stock of
spares from about 5 years solid of building
American classics.

All the best

Shouldn't be too tough to find the kit!

think not.
I spent 2 hours on line yesterday.
There isn't a single example available,
commercially/on line in the UK.
(My home country)
So I've just ordered one from Squadron.
It was on discount @ about $10 so the
money off may pay the postage to UK.
(though I doubt it!)
Thanks for all the help guys,
All the best
