Hi everyone, just a small update today. I managed to get the airframe assembled and was pleasently surprised at just how well it goes together. I only needed
a couple of small bits of filler and the job was done.

[/IMG].

The canopy was masked with Bare Metal Foil and I even remembered to paint the lower part of the antenna before attaching the canopy .

The canopy frames were fisrt coated in Tamiya XF71 before the primer.

[/IMG].

This was followed by Hu90 on the undersurface.

[/IMG].

I'll let this dry overnight and hopefully mask it up and spray the Hu75 topcoat tommorrow.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers.

Stu

I admire your canopy masking--one of my bugaboos. Lemme get this straight: you put foil over a window pane and then cut around it with a sharp blade? I fear scratching the plastic underneath and not getting a good free-hand cut, especially on curves. Any tips?

Thanks!

So far the paint looks good. How's progress on the beast?
