Hello everyone,
After D510 is the turn to show you another model of a lesser-known aircraft.
This is the Manshu Ki-79a, a Japanese trainer aircraft based on the frame of Nakajima Ki-27 Nate.
The RS kit is also in 1/72 scale. The pieces fit together very well and I only made a small correction in the landing gear.
I really enjoyed doing this little model.

Very nice build of a neat kit. Your weathering looks to be exactly right - not too much, not too little. Well done!

I've alwasy wanted to build one of these after reading an account in "the Hook" of Ki-79s battling F6F Hellcats over Japan (to predictable results).

I really like the paint job and the weathering. I just wish the Tamaiya A6M2 I've been struggling with for a month looked half that good. It's close to taking a test flight off the bench
