Nice to know the wing pylons aren't molded into the lower wing on this kit. Wish everyone would do it that way so they'd be (more) optional. Otaki did!

I believe they were removable on the real ones, not that they removed them often but early on they weren't always used especially before they became wet for drop tanks.

Thinking of grabbing a Tamiya bubbletop just for all the propellers it comes with. :)

Anyway, this one is looking really good Brian. Makes me wanna do another!

The razorback has all the propellors the bubbletop has with the exception of the late Curtiss "Paddle Blade". The paddle blade comes on the bubbletop "M". If you need a prop let me know I have extras.

Thanks F4U1D not yet, but good to know, thank you. I love kits that beef up my spares box.

This is great. Love you WIP with nice clear pictures. I built the P-47M a few years ago and it was a great kit. Have several more to do in the stash.

I wish I could get that paint here in Canada. Although having said that do I need yet another line of paints to add to my already overflowing paint rack.

Cheers
Chris
