1/48 Special Hobby Martin Maryland in the Royal Navy

Posted this over on Britmodeller a while ago, thought you guys may like it as well...

Here's Special Hobby's 1/48 Maryland finished in colours of AR717 inspired by a picture in 'Sky Over Scapa by Gregor Lamb that shows this aircraft serving with 771 NAS at Hatston, circa 1942.

The photo is grainy at best, but my interpretation is a Maryland in TSS with unusual C type roundels.. as always, some artistic licence and interpretation here...!

How come it doesn't say Royal Navy on the side?

Nice job with this, whilst not a difficult kit it's not exactly easy either.

Haggis, I couldn't see any trace of the Royal Navy logo.... Don't know why it didn't have it, unusual....
