Hi,
Can anyone tell me if anyone makes a Wright R-3350 engine in 1/48 scale for use in a B-29.

Also, Can anyone tell me if anyone makes a Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major in the same scale for use in a B-50.

Regards
Simon

...They make just about anything as far as engines go.

You have to add pushrods and ignition harnesses yourself.
Here's an example of a Pratt R2800 for installation on the Heller 1:72 CL215.

Meteor had a set of "corrected" set B-29 cowls, IIRC.

I've got two of E&T's R-4360's. Not real impressed. I think they're useable, with a lot of work.
I would like to see a set of GOOD R-4360s and R-3350s. How about it , Quickboost, Vector?

different variants of the R-3350s. Like to see a good R-4360 , too. I've got a couple projects that need 4360s.

finish the last row of cylinders for the one they offer in their 1/48 F2G kit, it'd make a NICE R4360. Heck, I kind of wished I could get a couple of those engines separate from the kit. Unless you're going to be going with open cowls, it'd make a great presentation.

Perhaps Quickboost or Vector may grace us with a fine R4360 at some point in the future.

Cheers,
Dave
