Here's Hasegawa's A-7E in the markings of VA-113 Stingers from the late 70's/early 80's. The unique thing about the markings is that it's Gull Gray over White, but the flying surfaces on top are Gull Gray. The markings are lo-vis, yet the stenciling is still hi-vis. It's essentially OOB except for a True Details seat and a vac intake cover I found in the box (I got the kit at a show). I took another trek out to the airport to see how real I could make the pictures. Since pictures from that time period tend to be a bit fuzzy, I worked the pictures in a photo program so they wouldn't be crystal clear. I was trying to capture the look of pictures taken by a kid at an airshow.

... I like the photo effects. It really does look like some of the pictures I've taken at airshows as a teen...

Very nice work on the SLUF too!

We stole the eagle from the Air Force, the anchor from the Navy, and the rope from the Army.
On the seventh day while God rested, we overran his perimeter, stole the globe, and we've been running the whole show ever since.
