Please post:
  1. Brand, model and shock length.
  2. Spring rate.
  3. Your weight.
  4. 1 up and/or 2 up riding ?
  5. How many clicks/turns for correct sag adjustment for 1 up (also 2 up if you have it) ?
  6. How happy are you with the shocks ? How do they compare with OEM ones ?

Progressive 440 (replaced by 444) , standard duty, 11-1/2" . 160 lbs,  approx 3 turns  solo, more for 2-up.
I like them. Have the 412 series  on both my 750s, and Progressive front springs in all 3,

Note, The 412s on my 01 750 are U.S. made, while the newer set on the other one are made in Mexico, May be my imagination, but I think the 01 rides better,,,  both ride better than the stock shocks and springs.

Thanks Cleve !

I am also considering the 444s. I am surprised you got the 11 1/2". Doesn't that lower the bike ?

How do 444s compare to the 412s ? Are they that much better to warrant the more than double price difference ?

Which model of the 444s are you running ?

Mine are 440-4202C,   Just the standard duty 440 11-1/2" , they were discontinued and replaced by the 444 a few years ago. Yes it lowered the bike a bit, not enough to really notice. Supposedly, only the 412 series are made in Mexico, rest made in US. 412 seems to be a decent enough replacement on the 750, just 5 positions on the adjustment though.
