Those Valk engines have that look you don't forget, they have that "I'm the boss" look, you can almost see the power dripping out of them!kunkies wrote:Carolina Son, you don't miss anything do you?
Yes that is "big brother" 2000 Honda GL1500CT Valkyrie Tourer in the back ground. If I'm one up: ACE T, If I'm two up: Valk'
I had the same problem as you. This was the mod that I made to help alleviate the strain, and they worked very well with no handling issues. These are HD Deuce risers that I picked up from ebay. Since the stud bolts of the risers are SAE, and the stud bolt holes of the T was metric, I had 2 hi-grade 1/2" diam. steel bolts turned down to 12mm an re-threaded to adapt the risers to the T's triple tree. These offered a little more pull back vs. rise and that's what I needed the most.kunkies wrote: My stock handlebars were a tad too far from me causing some upper back pain and stretched ligament damage behind each scapula yet only on long distant trips.
