Thanks CS , but I wouldn't want an old one .The connector had been removed from both the stator and the rectifier by the previous owner and the wires were just tied together .  I just need a new male connector to run the three wires from the mosfet to the female connector that is on the stator .do you or someone here know the name of this type of a connector ? Push on ? quick connect ? etc.etc

they are just standard spade terminals, an auto parts store may have a replacement connector and pigtail that matches, otherwise, I'd solder and heatshrink 3 spade terminals onto the bike harness side and tape it up.

personally think a lot of the failures in the connector are caused by a poor crimp on the stator side of the oem setup, seen several toasted connectors, the worst damage at the point the wire goes int the spade term.

Sorry, mine was on its way to being toast when I replaced the r/r. Same with my sons.

Well ,back together after finally fabricating some brackets and getting the regulator mounted . Problem ? still not charging . Previous readings between the three wires were , O.L , This time the readings between the yellow wire's are in the 0.3-0.4 range . The readings from wires to ground were 2-O.L and one 0.0 . They are now one 0.0 two 0.3 . Assuming the Stator was good because of it being new , I didn't check anything before installing . Before knocking the Manufacturer , I am going to check to see if it was something that I did wrong seeing that it was my first time working on a bike . It was pretty easy and straight forward though .

would appear the wire at 0.0 is shorted to ground somewhere close to the plug end while the other 2 are reading through their length and part of the way back on the 0.0 wire to the same ground point. If you didn't pinch one of the yellow wires, then it's a bad stator. could be the insulation got compromised either around the stator frame or a wire is now touching the engine case due to maybe not wrapped tight enough. it's really tight in there.

Got mine charging! New stator from electrosport, 1 new r/r from honda (didnt work) and another new r/r from amazon bought in desperation that did work. Broke the body ground and both body and frame ground from the battery and cleaned and reseated them. Ensured battery was good. Finally getting >14v at battery while on the road. Took me a month, all told.
