Welcome to our forum. I purchased my sissy bar and rack from my local Honda dealer. It mounted on without any problem. There were quite a few rack options (looks) as well as a number of pad and pad plate options to choose from. You may find someone on this forum has one for sale if you're willing to "watch and wait". Good luck finding what you want.

Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket racks that fit the factory sissybar?

Never was a "factory" sissy bar, most were dealer accessory add-ons, Sold as Hondaline, I believe made by a co called Bestem.
Found this old thread on another forum:
http://www.vtxoa.com/forums/7-vtx-1300- ... ion=thread
don't think they still make anything for ours.

bottom line, measure side-to side distance of outer and inner edges of sissy bar and center-to-center on mounting holes for backrest. find one that will fit either inside or outside of your sissy bar and has the correct hole spacing or if the hole spacing is off, maybe slot or drill one new mounting hole in the rack side plate, then mount it with larger chrome washers . You could even use chrome spacers and longer stainless bolts from Ace etc if it isnt close enough width-wise

Mine had the type with flat side plates and shorter sissy bar that put the pad too close for the Mustang seat. so I made a new side plate pattern that raised the passenger pad and moved it back a couple inches with a more vertical angle. (mostly to clear the Mustang seat) then cut new side plates out of stainless and polished them. Ended up mounting the backrest on it's own mounting holes as the new pattern had the rack too high and tilted up using the new sissy bar holes

only pic I seem to have of new sissy bar side plates installed:

Also, I've interchanged sissybars and racks between my 750 Ace and the T, side plates are different but the racks and sissybars worked.

These on ebay may fit yours OK, see if they will send you measurements maybe,,,

One more thing, there's also the MC enterprises? one that goes on the rear seat bolt and license plate bracket: like the one here:

https://hondashadowacetourer.yuku.com/m ... 19262.html

it's independent of the sissybar. (I actually was thinking of getting this but already have a working setup...)
