We just bought my wife a 98 Tourer.  I noticed in 3rd gear around 50 mph the engine will bog down.  If you hold the throttle steady it will kick back in at around 55 mph.  It also does this in other gears and higher speeds as well.  Any ideas?

Run some carb cleaner through a few tanks of fuel.
Depending on how long it was sitting, before you bought it, there is a good chance the carbs are a little gummed up and need a good cleaning.

Will do.  I have been trying Star enzyme and also non-ethanol gas thus far.

I had something very similar with mine and used Polaris Carbon Clean, 1oz per tank. I did use 2 oz the first round. It took care of the issue in about 30 miles.
