Raven1099.....just under 25K.  Bought in June 2016 with 12K.  I don't ride the clutch and check the play in the handle regularly.

It can't be the clutch at 25,000 miles, maybe the clutch springs? I know I read somewhere that they can be an issue maybe someon can chime in on that, so far I have 72,000 miles on my bike with original clutch without ever having any issues and used the Lucas oil stabilizer twice, was it the Lucas oil stabilizer you used or another product of theirs?

Yes, oil stabilizer.  Have the springs for clutch (Barret) and primary gear.  Was thinking of pulling the clutch to check it out (make sure metal plates were ok) and change the fiber plates while changing all the springs.  Everyone here and others I've talked with all say the Lucas is fine.  Head scratcher.

UPDATE:  changed the clutch springs, flushed the crankcase with 50/50 mix.....OMG (goodness), that stuff came out really nasty....black, black, black.  New oil and filter, took her for a 5 mile ride when I got a short break in the weather.  Clutch is much better!  Roads were wet so I didn't chance it too much, but it rocks me back in the seat when I go WOT.  I'm going to ride for about 500 miles, then do another flush.

Also did the front forks but can't really say if it's made a difference, I took it really easy with the wet roads....drove like the old man I am I guess!  That's what the wife told me before I bought the T, "You can have a bike, but you have to drive it like the age you are, not the age you THINK in you are!"  I wanted to lower the bike some, so I extended the tubes 3/4 of an inch.  Sitting on the bike I don't feel any "closer to the ground".  We'll see.  Monday is supposed to be rain free and if so I'll give a better test.  It's the only dry day for the next 10 here.
