I am considering building all new harnesses using more modern connectors and components. I would like to find a source of Santee style boxes to build in and have the bulk of the wireing there. I would be using
*Solid state reg/rec with option to upgrade to ricks reg/rec
*Solid state flasher if you wanted turn signals
*Atc ato fuse block
*if using electric start there would be a key start and neutral safty switch
*waterproof plugs in the box and Bullet connectors on the bike end to connect to factory connectors.

I'm at about $100 to $200 in electrical components (no wireing or box in that) for fully loaded depending on which rec and about $90 for kick only with no turn signals with the cheaper reg rec. With labor, wire and a box it's looking like 400 to 500 depending on how cheep I can get the boxes.

I might also consider doing made to order where you pay for parts upfront and then I send you a invoice before shipping. I did see there boxes and am considering them but I also like the small ones which would bring down the cost.
