Hello Bruce,

As a former Epic player, i'm more than convinced ! And with the new box Adeptus Titanicus Games Workshop is ready to release soon, it will be more than welcome by the community.

I will promptly post some pictures and words from this topic on the Epic french forum if it has not been made yet by members.

Congrats on everything. Stuff is great, and the final table is awesome.

One thinig about the big round structure you have her (bottom left).

The idea is very good. But i'm not convinced by the exterior. Very vertical border. And if i look to the other pieces you have showed us, it's not that easy to council it.

We see on this picture you have put a door, some tubes, and an other structure... But i'm not sure the rest will fitt.

I think we should be able to conceal it completly with various structures. Maybe a stair would help ? A small piece we could multiply to make a big stair that would fitt either the vertical shapes and the inclined ones ? It should not take too muche place on a mold.

All the rest is amazing, really. And i mean it.

As for an idea, i'm fond of a giant round flat door. AKIRA style, if you see what i mean. The door of the military base, inside the Olympic Games area. If you can place it verticaly ? And maybe fitting the round scenery ? Sort of Titans vertical lift's door.

Thanks Marell,

The large circle didn't have any outside texture because I wasn't sure if the large circle would be useful or not. If it is included, there would definitely be texture on the outside as well.

I'll look at the door idea but I'm trying to match more of the early Star Wars look with basic geometric shapes. Large hatches might be more of a square with the corners lopped off at a 45 degree angle all around.

There are tons of different styles I've seen for this type of thing and narrowing the final style down is a difficult task. I'll keep working on these. Feel free to post any photos you're thinking of.

Thanks,
Bruce Hirst

It will be good news if the great circle in included. I think you should. It's a great shape. And you need big shapes to break the very tiny impression i see on the complete city you have furnished.

And of course it's even better if it comes textured !

As for the large hatch idea, i guess a squared one will be great too. Probably useable verticaly too, then ? With half the piece ? To make a standard vertical double door.

Remember the stairs idea if you do have some place. It can be a very small piece, but i think it could be a good addition.

If the circle is large enough for a 'mech, it could be used to designate a 'mech lift -- or for star wars, a launch bay hatch for a TIE or shuttle (small craft).

Bruce,
This couldn't have come at a better time with the immense hype of the new Adeptus Titanicus on the horizon.
A question. Have you thought about how your 6mm blocks could be used as just details that could be added to scratch built buildings? Like if someone where to build a foamcore or eps foam basic structure and add your blocks for the little greebly details? Doors, vents, hatches, turrets, etc. The things that really make it seem small scale.
Also have you thought about how the new bricks can work with other scifi molds you already have? Here's an image of someone's work on facebook. They cleverly repurposed your current scifi molds to get the smaller scale feel.

Kyklos - can you imagine running some mechs down those streets?  That's an awsome build!  Someone (who wasn't named) put a lot of work into that.
