Hi everybody,

Following the HeroQuest Arena, started  a while ago and just finished beginning of this year, I was motivated to proceed on other similar projects started months or sometimes years ago. The next one turned out to be the Catacombs of Cadwallon, inspired by the expansion "The King of Ashes", for the "Cadwallon, City of Thieves" boardgame which was edited by FFG.

I started the project when the expansion was being written by the French author Laurent Pouchain. I had the opportunity at that time to take part on this project by providing feedback about the rules and writing some text for the description of the Catacomb rooms. Unfortunately the expansion was never edited in French

This set is now finished since today evening. It took "only" one month to have it painted. The complete painting process can be seen on different topics on my blog: Those Catacombs can of course be used with the HeroQuest Dungeon

Enjoy the pictures.

Deuc

Odd choice of colours, but quite effective!

I like the dungeon but I admit I like the figures even more, they are so well painted and based

Btw, are the crystals on the big monsters base from a HA accessory mold?

Yes, the crystals are from the Cavern Accessory Mold. It can be better seen on the picture below:

As for the other miniatures, they come from the boardgame Cadwallon, City of Thieves. They were painted some years ago as part of a challenge among the french miniature bloggers. They are all visible on this topic on my blog.
