This is my 7 year-old DD at her first skating competition. She did a few technical moves like the spiral and some others and a 1 minute technical program, skating to the Harry Potter theme music. She had to compete at Gamma Level which is one level down from where she is at right now (Delta). She did so great all out there by herself!

I will leave this for about a week, so my family can see the movies and then will probably remove from youtube.

Ive always admired figure skaters; I was always a klutz on the ice! Your DD has a lot of poise and talent!!

Youve got alot to be proud of!! I love her bright pink costume too!

She did so well. You must be so proud!

You've inspired me...I am considering uploading DS playing hockey or doing some drills in his power skating class. Hmmmmmm.....

I can't stop looking at her - it's a very tough sport to learn and requires much dedication and passion. She has that! - I also ended up loving the pink dress - she picked it herself and I wasn't so sure, but when I saw her on the ice, she looked stunning and it suited her age and figure perfectly! She has always had great taste! Thanks!

I occasionally take movies of DS in hockey too and it's great to see their progress over time. DD is also doing sync skating and that's what she really is having most fun with, but I was surprised she wanted to do the competition and I admire her courage to be on the ice all by herself at 7 years-old!
