This is from a couple days ago at my apartment, where my roomate played his first full game of WFB as Lizardmen; this is after 22 years of 40K.
I've been playing Warhammer since 1999, and started Beastmen as a way to go out drinking less in my college years once I got a stable girlfriend and good job way back in 2005; I think I joined the Herdstone shortly after. I remember going to a house party years ago and getting really drunk and posting about how awesome this community was in like, 2006, on one of their computers, and how you guys helped me keep up a hobby and stay out of trouble. You guys are awesome. Even though Beastmen have been beaten down by rules changes (the 5 wide dilemma), adopting GoC's super herd build (which caused an opponent to punch a hole in the wall at a tournament), and our current book predicament, I'll never quit this army, or this forum. Also, I'm drunk now.
