Hey hey!,

Been awhile since I played in the Old World. I'm going to what'll probably be my last (and like my second in total) 8th edition tournament. This'll be a doubles event. My team mate is Vampire Counts.

Restrictions have no Lords, but End Times rules in effect.

Since I'm sure he'll have a ton of bodies shambling around, I'm torn between going heavier Warriors and Bestigor, or more Ambushy with the End Times LoC not requiring a parent unit per ambusher.

Here's what I'm thinking.

Slugtongue

Gorebull
BSB, GW, Blackened Plate

Gor x20
MoS, XHW

Gor x20
MoS, XHW

Bestigor x38
FC, MoS

Chaos Trolls x6
XHW

Slugtongue will be standing out and proud to try and ruin someone's day right away. If he melts something important Turn 1 that'll be great. If not, well, he can die, whatever.

Gorebull rides with the Trolls to give them a 4++ against fire. 'cause its what I do.

The Gor will all be ambushing. Sounds like I'm looking at a lot of shooting armies, so hopefully this will relieve some pressure on us. I could also split them into 4x10. But then I worry about not having enough juice to kill anything.

Hoping to get some thoughts! I also have 2x18 MoN Warriors and such. I could go for a slow heavy hitting army. Throwing Festus in there as well. I'd be keeping pace with the undead. It means we'd hit their lines at the same time, but we'll be eating a lot of shooting no doubt.

Hope to hear from ya!
Gors just wanna have fun.
WHATCHA gonna do when the Goodgor runs wild on YOU, BROTHER?
