...if you get sent to Facebook or Twitter or Google or???? Instead of the HCL site it might be due to the switch-over causing your old account to need to be ACCEPTED by me. All new registrations are apparently required to be ACCEPTED by the owner or it probably won't work.

I was under the impression that anyone could just come on and post. I don't t think that's the case.

I was told Vince and Pat were having such problems. I found Vince's membership and ACCEPTED him. I cannot find Pat's. Tapatalk list all members and the operator gets to do things like edit them, send messages to them or -- they have some kind of Friend or Foe thingy.

If you're having issues, let me know and I'll see if I can figure out what the deal  is.

Vince should be able to get on.

Pat? You might try registering again--I should get a heads-up in my email and then ACCEPT your application and voila! This is not my design--I had no choice. I wanted an open forum but this is what we got. I'm still looking for a Network54-like place that's as open as they were but so far NOPE.

PS: Have a wonderful Memorial Day! Monday. I will be at Camp Pendleton for a memorial dedication to all the 5th Marines who died in Vietnam. The memorial cost $400,000. The money came from donations. I have Vietnam buddies coming from around the USA to be there, and that is the main reason I want to go--to see them. Seating goes to guests beginning with Gold Star parents--they lost a son or daughter in defense of America--next is Vietnam Vets--then those who wish to participate in the dedication. I expect there will be a lot of young Marines there since this is on a Marine Corps Base.

I bookmarked the "unread pages" link, but recently realized that I had somehow gotten logged out, so it always showed me that nothing was unread.

I as getting all old messages as unread. Then "somewhere" I'll look for it again, there was a place where I could mark them all read. And I don't know if I was able to do that because I run the site or if everyone can do that. I'll look for it today and hopefully that will fix that problem for you as well.

Everyone can do that.  My problem is that I can't seem to stay logged in (despite checking the box to stay logged in).  Going to discussion/unread (which I bookmarked) logs me out, even if I just logged in two minutes ago.

everyone can do that? I couldn't and I can't now. I have no idea how the heck I did it before, as if the function popped up and then disappeared. I do not have your problem. In fact I leave myself logged in so I don't have to keep logging in.

So how do you like Tapatalk? I still wrestle with this site. Somehow Allen can't change his pass word--hummmm.

I wonder if you have ad blockers or script blockers, etc., causing your account to log out? Just a thought. I'll ask tapatalk (I'd like to know who came up with that name) and see what they suggest. I suspect it's some sort of glitch on your pc unless it's happening to others. Then it might be Ttalk.

Does this two minute log out happen on other computers--if you have another one, and have you tried someone else's computer in case you have two set up with the same settings?

If I don t' log out I'll stay on for days, weeks. There seems to be no automatic logout period. I might be able to set that--don't know. I have not come across that option, but maybe you have and inadvertantly fliped that switch. That's another thing I'll check.
