I don't usually end up taking pictures if I'm not catching anything but here are a few

Trying to show the water clarity, this was about knee deep.

Random photo.

Not a photo, but a video of a bunch of snook feeding right after I broke my rod. I had my fly rod as well but it was windy and I caught everything but fish.

Resurrection of old thread. The fish-less days can still make a positive impact on us. The beauty and calmness that we have around us, while fishing, affects our mood and allows time for reflection. The other morning I ventured out in the fog in search of a large gamefish. But the tides/winds weren't favorable to me. I did take the time to reflect on the scenery and snap this shot.

Nice shot and I love those foggy mornings. To bad the fish didn't cooperate with you but I like what you said, "The fish-less days can still make a positive impact on us."

It’s an old photo (circa 2010). I had been planning a trip to the Venice area for weeks. On the day I was going, the weather turned ugly. I sat there in the truck for about an hour and a half, hoping it would clear up. It didn’t until I had started down the road. I pulled into Venice Beach and dragged everything across the wooded “boardwalk” and sand to get just a little time on the water. I was about to call it a wash when I spotted a big sea turtle, that had several Cobia traveling with it. I got lucky, and the trip ended up being a positive one. 8583D61B-43A3-4E3C-A2C9-A47A7A212F21.jpeg
