Would anyone out there have any information of the downing of Halifax LK968 (coded SE-P) from the 431 Squadron during the Leipzig raid of 03/04 December 1943.

Crew:

ID Rank Name Position Destiny Date of birth Age POW # Personal ID Burial Place / POW Camp
1 Flying Officer Alexander William Edgar RCAF Pilot killed 0000-00-00 23 J/24430 HANOVER WAR CEMETERY, 6. A. 17.
2 Sergeant Norman Thomas Anderson RCAF Flight Engineer killed 1921-00-00 22 R/111471 HANOVER WAR CEMETERY, 6. A. 16.
3 Flight Sergeant R J Henry RCAF Navigator prisoner of war 0000-00-00 43188 R/70957 9C

7 Sergeant Mansel Vernal Phillips RAFVR Rear Gunner killed 0000-00-00 1836048 HANOVER WAR CEMETERY, 6. A. 18.

I have found a couple of places on the web indicating LK968 was shot down by a night fighter but have not seen any sources cited to confirm this. I am also interested in any crew or aircraft photos which may exist...or advice on places where I could search for such. Finally, any further info on the crew members would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for any information, advice or expertise that you can share.
