Hi,Has the website stopped posting updates? there are a load of pages with notes that they will be added to in the "next few days" but there has been no update since August. Wonder whether the association has closed down or is the website nothing to do with 102 Squadron Association?
HiHi, wanted to touch base with everyone on this thread.
I have just taken possession of everything that was sent to Chris Goss when he wrote our squadron book, so I am NOT looking for a load of extra work concerning the web site - I have about five years worth here already...
However ---
There are a number of people on this thread that I have never heard of, or never spoken to and I would like to encourage you all to contact me when ever you have a moment and let me have the details of your loved one. (Christine.. give me a bell sometime please.. its been a while now and I still have nothing at all for your dad..)
You may find that they are already on our site in some way, but maybe you can add more details.. especially photo's??
my email address and other contact details can be found on our web site, and I look forward to making up pages for all those I have not yet done.
All the best
Chris
Chris - good to see your posting as had sent few emails but not heard anything back from you.HI, addressing your points:
The web site is run and operated by an associate member of the association, but it is not it any way controlled by such, or paid for by such, nor will it ever be.
I have had twelve months were my life has been turned upside down and I have needed to place all of this on hold.
The problem is that I have about 60 people now waiting for web pages to be made for their loved ones, and there is only myself that can do the work.
If you have any more questions my direct email can be found on the contact page.
Details for the association will be placed on the Assciation page as soon as possible.
Thanks
Chris
I wasn't sure if you were asking for photo's and stories for the the Association or for your personal website, thanks for clarifying it's for your personal site.HI, addressing your points:

i know this was a number of years ago, but did you get any info, as my uncle was killed 26/6/ 1943Hi Tim,
I realise this was posted a number of years ago, but I was wondering if you had any information regarding my uncle.
He as a F/Sgt who died on a raid to Germany on 26/6/43. He is buried in a cemetary in Florennes, Belguim. His name is Mathew Henry Clack, but I believe he was known as Harry.
I am just begining some research and would appreciate any help as to any relevant sources of information.
Thanks in anticipation
Richard Clack

Any chance of getting a copy of the photo? I am researching local boyss who served in the RNZAF attached to the RAF. I would be very keen to have a photo of Ron Selby. Thanks.I'm not even sure if I'm on the right site to request help with my enquiry, but will leave a message in the hope that if I'm not, then someone out there will put me on the right track!
My son is trying to research my late dad's RAF career and would welcome ANY information he can gather on his time at Pocklington. My father's name was Flt Sgt Cyril George William PUGSLEY,he was a wireless operator/air gunner. He was a member of 102 (Ceylon) Squadron and was based at Pocklington between the 10th July, 1944 and the 16th December, 1944. We have a photograph of the crew he flew with in the Halifax with the nose painting and logo "The Flying Scot". The crew members appear to have written their own names and addresses on the back of the photo, two are New Zealanders - H.J. Hammond from Christchurch and R.H> Selby from New Plymouth. Another two are from the London area -one signature is quite difficult to decipher but I think the name is G. Armsby of Holmstall Avenue, Burnt Oak, Edgware and the other is J.W. Chown of Willingdon Road, Wood Green, London.
The two other crew members are from Kent and Sussex and I think I am already "on their trails".
If there is anyone with any information whatsoever to offer, then both my son and I would be more than grateful to hear from you.
With best wishes,
Christine Johnson
