Boot Marines, new age Marines, sometimes erroneously refer to reenlisting by the Army term "re-up," vice the correct Naval/USMC terminology "Ship Over" or "Shipping Over." Much in the same way that some Old Corps Marines once erroneously referred to their USMC "Battle jackets" as "Ike" jackets, etc.
