Hey there I'm Warmachine395, there's been a kit that I've
been itching to paint for months now, the MG Kaempfer.
For some reason of found myself inclined to paint it in an
identical colour scheme to the RUF CTR Yellow Bird, as the
name suggests its bright yellow.

It seems as though I'm incapable of posting an image correctly so if you'd like to take look at these here.

I've added a few more pics on my Flickr page an extra armament in the form of of a resin
cast GM sniper rifle painted in Kaempfer planned colour scheme. Got a few pics of the
Kaempfer's inner frame parts painted in a "black chrome", (I decided to paint them on the
trees)

Take a look here.

Looks nice. You'll probably have to paint over the nub marks when you cut the parts off the trees and clean it up. It could take you a while to do. Can't wait to see it put together.

Actually I've only painted over the inner frame on the trees,
I checked where the nubs were going to be most of them are
concealed by the outer armor which I will be taking off the trees
cleaning up, removing those seam lines atop the shoulders.

Yeah it'll be an exercise in neatness.

Well it's slow going prepping all of the outer armor for
primer, three coats of yellow and gloss clear coat (yellow
is a pain in the butt) I've had to tape over all of the
pegs to make sure it'll all fit together afterwars.

Well I've managed to finish painting around half of the
outer armour, but I'm unable to put any more photos up on
flickr as I seem to have hit my monthly quota.
If all else fails I'll put up a video on Youtube

Oh, man you absolutely have to use primer with yellow paint,
theres no way that it would go over the blue properly and I've
got this really cool Black Chrome look going for the inner frame with
different finishes for different parts (I'm tooting my own horn here)

Unfortunately photobucket doesn't work properly in canada as far as I know
and Imageshack just never occured to me (I'll give it a test run)

Thank-you very much for your feedback

You should ask Syd, the guy from HLJ's GunplaTV, for his decal scheme he used on his Yellowbird Sinanju (http://www.gaijin-gunpla.com)

I voted for silver or a dark chrome, to keep with the theme

I have now completed the top half of the model.
-The stabiliser fin has been modded to look more aggressive.
-I have also decided to add another colour into the mix, red
for a few stripes here and there.
-Battle Damage has been addedby sanding off a layer of paint
around the edges.
-Special accessory (and first time playing with resin).

Things to do.
-Legs.
-Weapons.
-Still waiting on tamiya paints for thruster bells.

Been extremely busy recently and haven't had the time to paint anything.

Are you gonna do any touching up on that armor? Like on the arms, the armor plate edges old color is showing through.

@ blackchimera climate and school kind of screwed me over there, its really nice to be near completion on this one especially since this is the first time I've ever done a full paint job on anything.

still have to build the chain mine and panzer-fausts they need some paint too
