Anyone have this figure?

I am just curious, I know that they look soooo cute and MOE but the price is a bit insane since you can get 2 HG gundam. Is this figure worth it?

And one more thing, anyone know how big is this figure? is it same with Hoi Hoi san model kit?

For hardcore collectors their worth it since Nendos usually just make every character in a series..

Figmas are cheaper and looks better IMO.

I think I'll get figma. I need to have it for character posing in 3D.

I love them, and recommend them heartily. They've been getting smaller recently, from 11cm to about 9cm, but they generally add in so many extra little bits that it's easy to forgive them. Good Smile's modelers are absolutely fantastic, and the Nendoroids get a crazy amount of attention in the production process due to their widespread appeal.

They come out with the loveliest models every now-and-then. My Saber Lion is an absolute beauty, one of the best purchases I've made, and my Kyouka is fantastic too. They have very high standards, although my Alphard (my newest arrival) has some blemishes.

They make Touhou models too, which is great. Looking forward to my Sakuya!

I really like to look of these figures, the Death Note figures are fantastic. LOL, Melissa Seraphy and Saber Lily are super cute.

The only thing stopping me getting one at the moment is the fact that I won't be able to stop buying them once I start.

All of the nendos are amazing except for the price. I think it's expensive because of they have to pay the license to the character maker, studio and stuffs.

They are expensive mostly because of the quality. Not once have I read nor heard people complaining about some fault in nendos..

And the manufacturer knows people will still buy them anyway.

tc012009, you're right about the not being able to stop. I'm checking nendoroid.jp fairly regularly, so that I'll know when a new one will be up for preorder (Just in case I miss out on it due to preallocations selling out).
It's a curse.

Saber Lily comes with really nice leg parts, so she looks really good. The stands that come with them are fantastic, as they don't stand out, yet hold them well. They're REALLY top-heavy, so the stand is very helpful.

I can't say enough about how great that Saber Lion is. I really can't.

Where are ye ordering them from, that they're so expensive? They generally work out at around €30-35 for me.
If ye're getting them from Yes-Asia, don't. They're con-artists. The only use for them is the limited editions that they don't have on other sites, like Touhou figs.

I reckon a Saber Lily would look great standing beside my SD Gundam, what is a good price to pay for this figure on ebay (the average prices range appears to be between $45 and $65).

Free shipping, although I assume that's included in your prices.

It's funny how just after I bash Yes-Asia, I post a link to them. Bah.

The only reason I feel like getting the nendo saber lily is because it's the only saber lily fig that I can afford!

Did you get that Saber Lily in the end, tc012009?

Got my Marisa in the mail the other day. Back to the proper sized models. Possibly the best made one yet. Well painted, feels sturdy, nice extras with it.
All of the minuses I've mentioned before are gone. :)

I haven't got Saber Lily yet (LOL, blame HLJ and their last gunpla sale in mid February which sucked up all my cash mid Feb).

I still want to get one but the full size Saber Lily Ditzy posted above is really eye catching.

I've pre-ordered the MG Wing Gundam and Kotobukiya's Armored Core Lahire Stasis so once I get these kits in April I aim to pick up either Saber Lily, Melissa Seraphy (I love this nendoroid) or a Death Note character (Ryuk looks great).

Saber Lily's been out for a good while now, so I can't imagine stocks will hold up much longer. Then again, that MG Wing is pretty damn beautiful.

As for replacement stands, generally they make unique stands for each model, so I can't imagine you'd be able to order any. Because of their strange weight distributions, it's very difficult to get them to stand with stands that aren't explicitly theirs, but I think Haruhi and the other earlier ones have more similar stands than others. What you could do is make a third-leg for her using a toothpick or something. You don't need a stand for the characters with tails for that reason, it just looks a little better.
On a related note, how did you manage to get Haruhi's hair off in order to swap her face? Mine's is stuck firmly in place, and I can't move it for heaven or earth. Maybe it's just mine, but maybe there's a trick?

Yeah, I've tried pretty much everything I can do with my bare hands.

Think I might try using an exacto-knife to wedge it apart, like I'd do with gunpla parts. Then again, maybe it's fine as is.
