This one's been in prototype for a while now, but Shizuoka saw some runners shown off for the first time. Here's some pics by HLJ:

Another look by Max Factory themselves:

Those are some HUGE parts.

Some more runner images. Huge runners, and an interesting choice of semi-clear plastic:

HLJ also posted some pics to their Facebook page of the Gerwalk mode:

So is this meant to be transformed or you can chose which mode you want to buy? Love the scale but I cant find any info on their website. Is it due this year?

Yeah, I went ahead and changed the title. It looks like two separate kits for Gerwalk and Fighter modes. No word on release date just yet.

Third link in the OP seems to imply that there is a fighter mode-only sprue, so at the minimum you have to choose the mode. The most recent post implies that the Gerwalk kit is its own product. So it's mostly clear (translucent, really) that the modes are separate, which for the purposes of stability is fine by me.

The question is if you get all the parts for Fighter, Gerwalk, and Strike/Super in one gigantic box and have to choose one model to build, or if they're sold separately.

Well I hope it comes out great. Im really keen on collecting Macross stuff becuse the Yamato figures as nice as they are, way overpriced especially since its all limited quantity so sellers ask crazy prices.

I already collect all Perfect grade gundams, oversized KO Transformers (pref the scale compared to tiny masterpiece).

If they make only one, as long as its like a museum piece i dont mind if it costs $300+

Some pictures from some Plamax event. No final price yet, but the post says they're reaching for ~38,000 yen.

Pre ordered are up on HLJ. I placed mine. Still undecided because of the fixed pose, which isn’t my favorite. But damn it’s a big boy and I want it.

*Amiami's retail price is based on MSRP + local 8% sales tax, which wouldn't be applied to an international order.

**GSC has a flat $20 shipping fee, according to someone on MWF. Macross items aren't available for purchase on the US site for obvious legal reasons.

Wait, "Large stickers are included to include Roy's/Hikaru's fighter"? No decals? What's up with that...

Given the exceptionally large scale, you'd want to do the larger markings with paint anyway. For the smaller warning stencils, I can make my own.

Well, you do make a solid point there. There's a lot of stuff that's reasonably simple (stripes, maybe the lettering too) and a lot of stuff that's very generic ("no step" and so on) - I think that really just leaves a few things that are in-between, like the kite and skull emblems, and maybe some of the markings on the intakes and such, that would be a bit tougher to provide. (And, of course, the stickers could be turned into masks for some of this stuff, as well.) So maybe the situation's actually not so bad after all.
