my brother who takes care of her sent her to the hospital Monday for another intestinal blockage...at least she was alert so when I told her that I loved her she was able to smile back at me. She was too old for any kind of surgery and there wasn't much we could do for her except to make her comfortable. They gave her some morphine and an anxiety drug to help her and it made her like comatose...at least she was relieved of any pain when she went.
