That gorilla wasn't amused at all! We had a mirror in a flower bed once, I've seen many birds go after the bird in the mirror and I've seen them trying to peck the rear view mirrors on my neighbors car.

While I haven't set a large mirror out to view the responses from my dogs and/or local wildlife, I have seen how my dogs have reacted to seeing their reflection in the sunroom glass door when I'd give it a good cleaning and they'd see themselves yet think they're seeing other dogs encroaching upon their territory and become agitated. LOL

I have 2,4 yr. Old tom cats. They love the mirror. They look but don't do anything special. I do know that they check it out. At least my russian blue does. My other one, voodoo doesn't seem like he worries about much actually.If it's not about food he ain't worried lol

I've been putting out compact mirrors for years in areas of BF activity...some would be gone within a few weeks but most remained untouched...might have been another animal or bird moving or taking them...
