Lucy is a lovely friendly and gentle GSP girl who turned up in the pound in Malaga in Spain.  She was checked by the vet who advised she was overall healthy, just a little under-weight and about 5 years old.    So we agreed to offer to bring her to the UK to find her a new home.

A local English-run rescue took her from the pound and put her into a foster home so that she was safe whilst a permanent home was found for her.  Whilst at their vet to get her travel jabs done etc., it was discovered that Lucy was already micro-chipped, and further investigation then revealed that she is in fact 9 years old!  She certainly doesn't look it or act it!

She is micro-chipped, vaccinated and docked.  We do not think she has been spayed as yet, and that will need to be done if needed at an appropriate time once she arrives.

Lucy is very friendly - particularly drawn to humans for cuddles, and also perfectly happy around other dogs.

Lucy will be looking for an experienced home, as we know little about her history - only what we see now which is a friendly and calm girl.  She could certainly live with other dogs in the home, and would be fine with older dog-savvy children.  We will not reccommend her to live with small furries.  Her new family wil need to give her time as they discover more about this lovely girl.

Lucy will be arriving from Spain on about 8th September, and will initially be going into foster in North East Lincs.  However, we are looking for a permanaent home for this lovely girl ASAP, or possibly even another foster home as the initial foster home is really already full!

So please get in touch if you feel that you have a place in your home for this gentle girl.

Lucy arrived safely from Spain and was offered a new home with a younger GSP toy-boy (who also originated in Spain!).  So she is now settling in well, and we look forward ot updates of her in the future.
