As if we needed anymore John Williams love around here...

Lincoln is extraordinary. This is a first-rate dramatic score that might not be as grand and sweeping as last year's War Horse, but is perhaps even more sophisticated and refined.

It's a mostly subdued score, but its orchestral beauty is palpable.

Lincoln is a surefire Oscar contender and proof once more that no one does it better than Williams.

As strange as it is to say, I found the music to Life of Pi very enjoyable. Gotta see the movie now. Eric Bana will NOT be in the sequel though - Ang Lee must hate him.
