Two old men were fishing off a bridge as they had done daily for many years. Suddenly, a funeral procession approached. One of the men reeled in his line, laid down his pole, turned to face the street & bowed his head until the processon had passed. He then picked up his pole and continued fishing.

The other fisherman was amazed & said "That was really nice of you."

"Least I could do," he said. "We'd been married 42 years."
