1. Have a clear goal. It should be one that anyone in the world can measure and understand.

2. Drink tea. Research suggests that those who drink tea -- black, green, or white, as long as it’s from real tea versus herbal tea -- have lower BMIs and less body fat than those who don’t consume tea.

3. Eat cayenne pepper. A study published in the British Journal of Nutrition showed that when compared to placebo, capsaicin -- the active ingredient in cayenne -- increased fat burning.

This is from Will and Grace for positivity and reflection:

My body has its own wisdom and I trust that wisdom completely.

Imagine it is simple. And so IT is.

What are you doing for your health and well being today?

Here is today's Affirmation for Self-Confidence and Self-Belief:

Fear is only a feeling; it cannot hold me back.

Imagine it is simple. And so IT is.

What is your biggest fear, right now?

Mine is only that Dick and I won't make it down to FL. I finally want to be there.

Here is today's Affirmation for Healthy Weight and Body Image:

My body is simply a projection of my beliefs about myself.

Imagine it is simple. And so IT is.

What is the difference between your wisdom and knowledge, Dear One?

Love the tidbits in this thread!

I have cut down on coffee -- again -- which means I am drinking more green tea. When I lost the last 25 lbs of my 50 lb loss, green tea was my mainstay. Right now, yerba mate is brewing in the coffeepot. That is what I am doing for my health and well-being today. And, I think I will pull out that bottle of cayenne pepper I had forgotten about... :)

My biggest fear? Providing for myself which translates to concern of losing my job and having enough energy to continue on.
