Well, it's getting near Black Friday again, and stores have already started putting out their fliers. Some places are claiming Black Friday prices right now, on certain products, although these pre Black Friday sales, at least the ones before Thanksgiving, don't usually seem like super deals to me.
Black Friday may be a good time to pick up an extra XBONE or PS4 controller, as there may be some significant price reductions, as much as $20, it seems. With the PS4, it is a bluetooth-only system, with no easy way to replace batteries, and even when you do, you can't really buy the factory/oem batteries, just aftermarket Chinese batteries, many which reportedly go bad pretty quickly or just don't hold much of a charge.
Black Friday will also be a good time to pick up a TV, blu-ray movies, likely some heavily discounted video games as well. But what about the PS4 pro or the newly-released XBOX ONE X? Well, I found one 'bundle' for the XBOX ONE X: Pay full price for the XBOX ONE X and get a free game.. not a great Black Friday Deal... As far as the PS4 PRO, so far, there doesn't seem to be any Black Friday deals on one yet..
Anything anyone else here looking forward to Black Friday for? Maybe some movies, tvs, games, laptops/tablets/desktops, music instruments, etc?
As for me, I'll just keep an eye out for online deals on movies, possibly games.. not really looking for much..
I'm looking forward to buying Mario Maker 3DS again for a lower bargain price.
I did phone Nintendo and ask them to make NES/SNES Classic Editions into a portable format. Like travel size editions of those great games onto specially made hand helds.
I'm not sure the company will take me up on that offer though. The New 2DS- to complement the New 3DS- is already out and SNES download-ready as well, so it makes the point of travel sized retros kind of moot.
