I’m  considering The Lost Child for the PS4, since it’s a dungeon crawler, albeit it doesn’t have the best reviews online so far. I see a new mega man is coming out, in the vain of the classic mega man games. So, that may be something people want to check out. Other games on my radar are I am setsuna and lost sphear, also old school type rpgs. I wish there were a whole lot more rpgs I’d be interested in for new consoles, but most would probably be digital downloads only, which I don’t support.

When I mentioned my role here would be limited, I meant every word. I gave up all video games new and old to grow closer to my Faith in God. I am considering becoming a missionary to tell the Good News to as many people as are interested in hearing it. It will require generous hearts to fund my living costs, but then again that's why I trust God to meet my basic and spiritual needs. If you want to hear from me, I'll be at the Chat Away section, where we can discuss anything else you want. Hope your son is doing well.

I didn’t realize that this was going to be a permanent situation with your gaming endeavors. I’ve certainly had periods when I did not game for a year or two or maybe even longer, and even though I will likely never get to a level of gaming that I once did, in my childhood and teen years, I still see times of gaming and times of not in my future. In a lot of ways, gaming has saved some of my sanity over the last year or so.

As good as things can be considered in a family situation, or even one with multiple people that are depending on you, things can be hell sometimes, both physically and mentally. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, on multiple levels, but the journey isn’t always smooth.

I hope your new journey in life is filled with happiness and enrichment. Feel free to email me any time you want.

I’ve beaten the main quest in Demon Gaze II and am messing around with the idea of not doing the post game quest(s)... not sure yet, but I do have a few other games I should get back to, especially Ys VIII. Speaking of Ys VIII, I see it’s soon being ported over to the switch.

Back to Demon Gaze II. There have been a few games where you beat the game but still have post game stuff to do, like Lunar: Eternal Blue, and even though you beat the game technically, do you really(???!!!) beat it when you leave certain things undone? The problem with this game, for me, is that it’s easy to miss areas where there should be hidden doorways and such, which makes it extremely easy to stall the game. In fact, I have over 90 hours logged in this game. Lastly, I’d say that there really isn’t a guide for how to place stats for each character/demon that you capture and control, and if you level them up so many times with the wrong stats, your characters obviously become weaker and/or less efficient. The final boss was a really tough fight, where I used several revival potions, used at least two salvation lights ir whatever they’re called, to revive the whole party after defeat, and still had to put the difficulty level to the lowest setting, for the first time I’ve had to do it in the entire game.

Well, I’m still contemplating getting the lost child ASAP, for the ps4

I’ve started playing Ys VIII again, but it’s really not my favorite game and doesn’t really feel like a Ys game at all. I’ve tried to get into Exist Archive, another RPG for the PS4, and it just isn’t fun at all. Ys VIII is like the greatest game in the world compared to it.
