I have been playing goemon ds now for a few days, and it would always be easier to play, and I would get more out of the story if I would understand what they are saying :D So, does anyone know if there is a translated version of this game, or patch?

Why not make a translation yourself, Sarah?

Yeah, someone should start another translating project, now that the translation for Goemon 2 is done. Im hoping that someday, someone would translate Goemon DS... Ebi:sit

Translating is part translating, but also part rom hacking. As far as I guess that will pretty tricky to do on a DS game. A dialogue guide would be cool, but I believe one already exists.

I thought we went over this before - I am nowhere near professional level, and there's no way I could do it alone.

And I know from experience that translating these games into English isn't even easy for native speakers sometimes. There's a lot of nuances, in-jokes, puns, and such that make translating a Goemon game extremely difficult. It's not as easy as "Oh, I know some Japanese, I'll translate this game now!", unfortunately.

Hmm... maybe you and Diehard could team up?

We have. She contributed a great deal to those projects. And now she and Seppukumaru are helping me translate some of the manga.
