Hey,

I can't download the Ganbare Goemon Art Book from the home page. It's something I believe would be really good as a reference for some 3D models I've got coming up of Goemon.

Could anybody supply me with a new download link? Preferably megaupload, although any site will do.

Thanks,
Brandon

I already answered this in this thread, and sadly the situation hasn't changed.

When I first became an admin of this site, I downloaded all the content I could and kept it on a external HDD for safekeeping. Sadly, the HDD died and took everything with it, meaning that my version of the art book is lost. It's potential that any other member might have it still, or the other admins, but my copy is lost.

To make matters worse, Fileden, our filehost, has this nasty habit of deleting itself every few months if you don't login since we use free accounts cause we're cheapskates. The account holding the artbook got deleted, and so was everything in that section. This means that it can't be redownloaded, either.

I'd either have to ask someone else for it, or somehow recover the file. I'd be more than happy to give it to you, if I had it. Sorry to not be more help.

However, on the subject of 3D modelling, did you know that using a specific plugin for an Emulator (Called simply "Lemmy's Plugin"), you can dump N64 scenes and then open them in the Open Source 3D modelling tool Blender? Here's a guide on how to do it.

That's a shame. I've known all about Lemmy's plugin, not what I need though. I'm talking about high poly renders. I thought the art book would be good as a reference.

I've downloaded it about two years ago but I've been searching for weeks and still haven't found it. My old laptop died last year and most of the files were gone. Still, I think I've saved it somewhere else. I'll keep searching.

That'd actually be really useful.

To upload, make sure the art book is in a .zip file. If it's not, right-click the folder the images are in and go to "Send to > compressed folder". (I'm assuming you are using a Windows computer.)

Next, go to http://www.filedropper.com/. Click the "upload file" button, select the folder you just zipped and that's you done. Wait for it to upload, then post the download link to it here.

Hope you manage it alright, would be great to get a copy of the book again.
