While hunting in a local antique shop I recently found a putter made by KOA CLUBS, the brass plate on the bottom of the club says;

Koa Clubs
BY Jewell

Very high quality curly koa head, 3-4" steel curved portion of the shaft leading to a wood shaft. Some type of wraped cordage at base of wrap the wrap says; Genuine Neumann Luxury Leather USA. Came with a Koa Clubs logo head cover.

Any Information anyone may be able to share as to the year of manufacture, who made this club, if they are still in production, and possible value, or any thing else would be appreciated.

***NEED TO SELL, make me an offer**** For the golfer that has it all. Koa Clubs designed by Jewell. I have a custom made putter. The putter is from the KO'OLAU Golf Club in Hawaii. The shaft and head are made out of Koa wood, which is from the Acacia Tree. The wrap is a Lamkin out of England. This is a custom one of a kind putter. These putters sell for between $850.00 and $1800.00 depending on condition. This putter is still in the original package, with the tags attached. I marked it at 500.00, but will observe all serious inquiries.

Here is an article from Bend Oregon in May 2009 about a man named Dryer making Koa Putters:

Here is a Dryer Koa putter for sale in a company in Maryland:

Here is a person writing in March 2008 who bought one made by Dave Musty of Musty Putters:

Koa Wood Putter
Just a recent purchase from the golf show on 2/18 here in Boston. I've been attending the golf show for 3 years now and every year I stop by the "Musty Putters" booth and putt. This year I happened to ask David Musty if he could make a putter for me out of Koa Wood. I didn't expect him to say yes, but he did and he also had one on hand for me to try out. I placed my order for one and it arrived a couple of days ago. Here it is, a sure thing of beauty!
