Lucky: The Balkan wants me to find Brenda Barrett?
Swavek: Shouldn't be too hard. She's a famous model.
Lucky: Right, which is the problem. This target is too high profile for my taste. I'm not a man who craves the spotlight. You can tell the Balkan I'm not interested.
Swavek: What makes you think you have a choice?
Robin: I believe Brenda should follow her heart.
Jax: It's taken Brenda years to build a decent life for herself, okay? Sonny could shatter that in a matter of weeks.
Robin: So you don't trust Brenda to live her own life and make her own decisions?
Jax: No, I don't trust Sonny. I think he's going to take advantage of her.
Robin: Well, you're a married man now with your own family, so it's no longer any of your concern.
Carly: You may think that Brenda can't have Sonny and Jax both but I bet she's willing to try. Brenda's not happy unless every man in the vicinity is madly in love with her.
Jason: I already told you, I think she wants to be with Sonny.
Carly: And after she has Sonny, she's going to try and push Jax's buttons. Do you see where we're going with this? Full circle. Brenda's back to stealing my husband again. First time it was Sonny, now it's Jax.
Brenda: Where's Dante?
Brenda: I'm saying, where's your photo of Dante? You don't have one. Well, I mean, you might want to ask him for a photo. He might like that.
Sonny: Yeah. You didn't come here to talk to me about Dante.
Detective: We're accommodating Interpol. She's being stalked by a guy they have interest in. 8 hour shifts. You'll rotate with Norman and Wiggins.
Brenda: Hey. Everything okay?
Detective: Ms. Barrett, this is Officer Falconeri. He's one of the officers who will be protecting you.
Brenda: Ahem. Nice to meet you.
Dante: Nice to meet you, Ms. Barrett.
Brenda: Oh, you can call me Brenda.
Dante: Brenda. Uh, just a few things I should tell you. Notify me, obviously, if you want to go somewhere, if you're going to have visitors. And other than that, the men and I will try to stay out of your way.
Brenda: Okay. What's your name?
Dante: Uh, Dante.
Brenda: Okay, thanks, Dante.]
Lulu: So you still haven't told me what you think about Brenda.
Brenda: Do you have a lot of experience as a bodyguard?
Dante: Oh, yeah, tons. I used to look out for my cousin. I used to beat up any guys who would mingle with him. I also guarded the Kentucky Derby winner one time on the way to the Belmont.
Brenda: So you guarded a horse.
Dante: Yeah, it was a pretty critical assignment. I mean, that nag's hooves were worth more than I'll make in a lifetime.
Brenda: How is that horse, alive?
Dante: Yeah, it broke the track record the next week.
Brenda: Hmm. Feel safer already.]
Sonny: You ok?
Brenda: Yeah. Ahem. I was surprised to see Dante here.
Sonny: You seem to have made a real impression on my son.
Lucky: Remind the Balkan that the last time he sent his men to teach me a lesson, they ended up dead in an alley much like this one. So he can keep sending 'em, and I can keep killin' 'em, starting with you if you like.
Swavek: I'm helping you out here. Brenda Barrett has to be dealt with. If you won't do it, the Balkan have no further use for you.
Lucky: What, does he expect me to just walk up and kill her in front of the paparazzi? Forget it.
Swavek: No one's asking you to kill the girl. Your job is to find her and grab her, and wait--
Siobhan: Get your stinkin' hands off me, you filthy maggot!
Swavek: Hello, sweetie. You got 5 seconds to explain yourself.
Jason: You said it yourself, it'll make things worse if you go head to head with Brenda.
Carly: This is no time to prove that you're actually listening to what I'm saying.
Jason: Okay, then what do you want from me?
Carly: I want you on my side. Brenda is all about manipulation. You know what's going to happen. She's going to get all weepy with Jax and Sonny and say, "I didn't come here to disrupt your lives, but I love you guys." Blah, blah, blah. Well, you know what, screw that and screw Brenda!
Jason: Okay, Brenda has no intention of staying in Port Charles. Her life is in Rome and she'll go back the minute I let her.
Jax: I'm quite capable of multitasking, Robin. I can be happily married to Carly and still be concerned for Brenda's well-being.
Robin: Yes, but--
Jax: One doesn't diminish the other.
Robin: Isn't this also about Sonny? Once he's in the picture, you're little cool detachment just disappears.
Jax: This has nothing to do with the revenge on Sonny. This is about looking out for Brenda and that's it.
Robin: She's a grown woman. She's made a life for herself. She's doing meaningful work with ASEC, she's dealing with politicians and CEOs of multinational corporations. She has it figured out.
Jax: And the minute she gets close to Sonny, she becomes a moving target, and you can't argue with that.
Robin: Well, Brenda's already in trouble. I guess Jason's protecting her. Anyway, the point is, if you interfere, Brenda will see you as an attractive option. And she's chosen you over Sonny in the past. Do you really want her to do that again?
Lulu: So what is Brenda like?
Dante: Well, you know, you've seen her pictures and stuff.
Lulu: Yeah, but airbrushing can fix a multitude of sins. I was kinda hoping she would have bad skin or gross hair or something just to make her normal.
Dante: No, she's beautiful. I mean, look, no one is as beautiful and sexy and desirable as you are.
Lulu: Okay, well, I still would like to know about her. Is she--
Lulu: Well, because everybody makes her out to be this crazy legend. You know she was the "B" in "L and B Records," Brook Lynn's mom's partner.
Dante: I did know that Lois had a partner, but I didn't know it was Brenda.
Lulu: Yeah, that was back when she was the love of Sonny's life, and now here she is a model.
Dante: Well, you know, she's a model. She's nice enough. She's obviously got some kind of connection with Sonny.
Lulu: Did she know about you? About you being Sonny's kid?
Dante: He must have mentioned something to her about me, but then she found out I was investigating and then she wanted me to turn the other way. So she's clearly all about protecting Sonny.
Lulu: Oh. Poor Dante. It's bad enough that you have to hear it from your brothers and your sister and half the town, but now you got some woman you just met defending Sonny.
Brenda: I've known you for so long. I just.. I can't believe, like I said, that I just that your son that I guess no one knew about, right, no one knew about him?
Sonny: I told you before in Rome.
Brenda: I know you told me about it, but I was just really surprised to see him.
Sonny: You know what, I feel.. I feel the same way. Look, I know that my son resents me. And he denies it, but you know what, he's gotta feel some bitterness because I wasn't part of his life. And I'm just hoping that that will change.
Brenda: Well, this is just like you and Mike.
Sonny: No, not like Mike, because Mike knew that I existed and bailed on me anyway. Dante was a secret--
Brenda: But I'm just saying how history always repeats itself.
Sonny: Not all history is painful.
Brenda: Ours was painful.
Sonny: What, I never saw you smile or laugh or anything?
Brenda: Yeah, of course you saw me smile and laugh. You know that's not what I'm talking about.
Sonny: We never washed strawberries together?
Brenda: I don't want to talk about our strawberries right now.
Sonny: We had a lot of good times. We could do more.
Brenda: I know we did. Robin was wrong. Robin was wrong. She shouldn't have gotten involved in this. This was a mistake. I mean, you know we can't be together.
Patrick: Sheila Edwards is in recovery. Doesn't look like she's going to need a second surgery as long as we manage her rehab carefully.
Steve: I honestly don't know how you do it with everything going on in your personal life.
Patrick: Honestly, Chief, I'm just glad I have work.
Steve: Okay, well, as long as it doesn't become the distraction that keeps you from fixing what's broken at home.
Patrick: I wrecked my marriage, I wrecked a colleague's life, all because of the decisions I made. But I don't think Lisa meant to do what she did, but as long as she's getting help--
Steve: Lisa's getting all the attention she needs at Shadybrook. Hopefully one day she'll be able to move on with her life.
Epiphany: Drake Jr., get someone else to be your personal assistant. I don't have the time.
Patrick: Time for what?
Epiphany: A call from some jewelry store about something that had to be ready today.
Patrick: It's Robin's necklace. Today's Robin's birthday.
Robin: When you left a marriage before for Brenda when she came back to town, why wouldn't you do that again? You know, marriages fall apart all the time. I'm proof of that.
Jax: I'm sorry for what happened with you and Patrick. But Carly and I are solid. And Brenda is a friend. Okay, she's a friend I've known for a very long time.
Robin: Yeah, and she loves you. She loves the way you support her and you encourage her. Who wouldn't want that?
Jax: Yes, and I can offer support and encouragement without crossing the line.
Robin: Do you love Carly?
Jax: Yes, of course, I've told you that.
Robin: Okay, so how do you think she's feeling right now? How do you think she would react if you got on your white horse and you went to rescue Brenda?
Jax: Rescue? What are you saying, that I'm good for Brenda but I should stay away, and Sonny's bad for her, and you're trying to put them together. I don't understand what you're--
Robin: Okay, you can't see it, because you don't like Sonny. But Brenda and Sonny, they have something very real. Something beyond all the heartache. And a lot has changed in their lives. I really think that they have a chance.
Brenda: I just came here to tell you that, you know, my life's really, it's good. And after I left Port Charles, I built this whole life that doesn't involve you.
Sonny: With that movie star guy, Murray.
Brenda: With Murphy, yes.
Sonny: Yeah, right. Are you still planning on marrying him?
Brenda: What does our conversation have to do with that? Nothing.
Sonny: Did you break up with him?
Brenda: No, okay, I'm not marrying Murphy. I'm not marrying Murphy. And I think you and I ended the day you left me at the altar. And what this is really about is Robin, and she is having this fantasy about her first love Stone. And she doesn't want to let it go because of that.
Sonny: Do you know Stone's last dying wish was for us to be together?
Brenda: Yeah, but we're not those people anymore.
Sonny: If you really believed that, you wouldn't be here. Just what is it that you want me to say?
Brenda: Nothing. I don't want you to say..
Sonny: But you don't even realize that you want it as much as I do.
Brenda: No, I don't. I don't want anything as much as you do. What I want is to be okay without you, and I want you to be okay without me. And the reason why I came here was just to tell you that I'm leaving Port Charles. And, you know, I'm glad I got to meet your son, and I think you guys are going to be great together. And I think everything's going to be okay for you and your children, and that's all that really matters.
Carly: I'm never going to trust Brenda's motives.
Jason: But you trust me. And I'm sorry this is causing you so much anxiety.
Carly: What about Sonny? She's going to break his heart, you know she is.
Jason: Well, then feel free to go tell Sonny that Brenda's bad for him. He should leave her alone.
Carly: I'm not going to say a word. If he wants to go another round with Brenda, I hope he enjoys it. How long is it going to take you to deal with this Balkan guy so Brenda can go away?
Jason: I don't know. It would help to know what he looks like.
Lucky: Let her go.
Swavek: Let him take care of her. We have business to discuss.
Lucky: Let her go, or first he dies and then you. It's that simple.
Swavek: We don't know how much you heard. She could be a problem.
Lucky: If she was a threat, I'd kill her myself. She's working for me, you bleeding idiot. She's here at my invitation. All right, so let's just get back to business now. The Balkan wants Brenda Barrett, that's fine. But I'm going to need the lass to pull it off.
Swavek: I thought you worked alone, Ronan.
Lucky: I get my help where I need it. Sometimes I need to blend in, which is much easier when I'm traveling with a lady. You know, sweethearts on holiday and all. This woman has areas of expertise that I find useful. That's all the explanation I'm going to give.
Swavek: You take your orders from me, like it or not.
Lucky: Then give me the details and get lost. You might as well be lit up in neon for all the subtlety you bring to these proceedings.
Swavek: The last address we have for the Barrett woman is the Hotel Paradisa in Rome. We were able to get into her suite once.
Lucky: And you still didn't finish the job?
Swavek: When we came back, she'd been already moved. It's your job to find out where. Grab her and call the Balkan. He'll take care of the rest.
Lucky: Done. Now stay out of our way.
Robin: Uncle Mac? I'm home.
Maxie and Mac: Surprise! Happy birthday!
Robin: What is this?!
Maxie: You didn't think we would forget, did you?
Robin: You guys didn't have to do this.
Mac: Come on, it's-- of course we did. It's the perfect time to celebrate the fabulous of you. So-- and Emma gets most of the credit.
Maxie: Yeah, I let her pick out all of the colors for the party.
Robin: Aww, this is so great. You guys are so wonderful. Thank you so much for the surprise. Hi. You look so pretty. Hi. What's this, yeah?
Mac: Those flowers are from Nikolas.
Maxie: Oh, and I hope you like what I got you.
Robin: Oh, you have great taste, are you kidding me? I didn't expect anything.
Mac: There's a couple there from Robert and Anna. And your mom said she was going to call you later to wish you a happy birthday.
Robin: Oh, this is fantastic. Thank you. I feel so blessed.
Emma: It's a balloon.
Mac: It's a balloon! Lots of balloons.
Robin: There's lots of stuff, and presents!
Patrick: Epiphany. Epiphany.. Epiphany.
Patrick: Look, I know you know what happened here.
Epiphany: [Chuckles] Everyone knows what happened here, Drake Jr. I considered selling tickets, but then I thought it would be in bad taste.
Patrick: Look, I need your advice.
Epiphany: I saw Rabbi Melvin counseling patients earlier. Will he do?
Patrick: I bought the necklace for Robin before we got separated. It's for her birthday, I love her, and I want to tell her, but I'm not sure if I'm crossing the line.
Epiphany: Okay, please don't make me do this.
Patrick: I could really use a woman's perspective.
Epiphany: Look, I am in charge of an overworked, understaffed nursing team that is still facing cuts from the budgetary grim reaper. I got my head full of other people's problems that are not of their own making.
Patrick: You know, she used to find me very charming. What about you, do you have an opinion?
Steve: I think you need to give Robin some room.
Patrick: I know it could be in bad taste. She'd wind up with a gift that was bought at a different time, under a different context. You know, it was meant to be a present from a caring husband, not a desperate act from a drowning man.
Steve: It's just a suggestion.
Patrick: You know Robin's kind of convinced that I'm not meant to be married, and it's scaring me that she might be right.
Dante: I admit, it was surreal. Thanks. I mean, there I was in Sonny's house waiting to question him, and in walks this face off the cover of a magazine. There's still all this stuff I really don't know about my own father.
Lulu: Well, let's see what I know about Sonny when he was in love with Brenda. Well, it's all stories because I was too young to know her, but I know that they had this crazy, intense love and my dad said that they broke up. Oh, you know what, when they decided to get married, Sonny never showed up. That's right, he left her stranded there, at the altar in front of all those guests.
Dante: [Chuckles] He told me.. he told me about a woman that he had to let go of for her own good. Someone he still couldn't get out of his mind. [Laughs] That was her. That was the woman he was still in love with was Brenda freakin' Barrett. [Chuckles] Wow.
Brenda: Hey, I'm leaving Port Charles tonight, so you can get on the plane with me or we could just say good-bye. Do you want to just say good-bye? 'Cause that would be fine with me.
Jason: Did you have a fight with Sonny?
Brenda: No, I didn't have a fight with Sonny. No, everything turned out exactly the way it's supposed to. So if you could just help me leave..
Jason: Did you tell him that you still have feelings for him?
Brenda: What?! Did Suzanne tell you that that's what I was going to do?
Jason: Suzanne is worried about you.
Brenda: This is like a high school here, isn't it? Okay. Doesn't matter. I'm not going to be with Sonny.
Jason: Then why'd you go see him?
Brenda: Because I-- because of you. I went and saw him because of you. Because this is your fault, because I begged you not to bring me back to Port Charles and you brought me here anyway, and you made me stay here.
Robin: It's amazing once you become a mom how cake takes on a whole new meaning.
Maxie: Do you want me to give Emma her bath to make it easier? I would love to.
Robin: Oh, thank you, but honestly bath time is not a chore to me. I love doing it. And I think with everything that's going on, you know, she needs consistency.
Robin: Yeah. And we have a lot to talk about tonight. Everything to be grateful for, right? Family and presents and birthday cake.
Maxie: If you don't like what I got you, you can return it.
Robin: Don't you dare, are you kidding me? But Uncle Mac, I love my spa day, thank you.
Mac: You know, it's been a challenging year but we got through it together. That's reason enough to celebrate.
Maxie: Yeah, this is gonna be a start of a new year for you. And it's going to be great, I can feel it.
Robin: Thank you. Thank you for everything, you guys.
Maxie: I'm gonna get out of here, but I'll check in with you later.
Maxie: I'll be back.
Robin: Bye. Thank you.
Mac: Bye, Maxie. You know what, I'm gonna check in with the office, too. The mayor's been crying about budget cuts. So I'll see you later.
Robin: Bye, Uncle Mac, love you.
Mac: Oh, bye. I love you.
Robin: Love you very much.
Mac: Love you, too. Bye-bye.
Robin: Okay, love you.
Emma: Love you.
Robin: Can I tell you a secret? Even with all the things that your daddy's done, I'm sad. I wish he was here. Want some more? Ahaha.
Patrick: Sheila Edwards is.. her family can see her now.
Patrick: [Exhales] With all due respect, Chief, I think you're wrong.
Steve: It wouldn't be the first time.
Patrick: You know, if I don't acknowledge Robin's birthday, she might think I forgot or that I don't care. But worse, she could think that I'm giving up. I'm not getting any awards for husband of the year. Truth is, it did scare me-- marriage, family, the whole thing. But I didn't know anything about that except I said I was going to be better at it than my father was, and I don't want to be who I was before. I like who I am when I'm married to Robin. When I'm Emma's father. I want that back.
Siobhan: Where's your friend, the priest?
Lucky: He gave up trying to saving my soul and moved on.
Siobhan: I'm pretty sure impersonating a priest will get you sent to hell in a hurry.
Lucky: Well, right now I'm more interested in what happens to you.
Siobhan: I leave. You go to Rome to find Brenda Barrett. Good luck with that, by the way. Will you actually hand her over to the Balkan?
Lucky: Well, I guess we'll figure that out when we get to Rome, won't we?
Siobhan: We? I'm not going anywhere.
Sonny: Yeah, white roses. As many as you can deliver by tomorrow. Thank you. Hey. Have a seat.
Suzanne: Oh, no, thanks. This won't take long. Suzanne Stanwick. Thank you for seeing me.
Sonny: You're part of Brenda's charity, right? Whatever's important to Brenda is important to me. I was going to send you a contribution, but now that you're here..
Suzanne: Ah. Some contributions aren't welcome, Mr. Corinthos. You're a criminal. Albeit a good one, judging from your standard of living.
Sonny: Well, you can't believe everything you read in the papers, because journalists, they make up all that stuff to justify their own existence.
Suzanne: Ah, well, I'll keep that in mind next time I'm writing a piece.
Sonny: You want to write a story right now?
Suzanne: No, I couldn't care less about you, Mr. Corinthos. But Brenda, however, is very important to me.
Sonny: Well, she should be, 'cause she's very special.
Suzanne: You started dating her right after she got out of high school, didn't you?
Sonny: What are you trying to imply?
Suzanne: It would be interesting to explore the inherent inequities in that relationship. But everyone survived. I guess it's water under the bridge.
Sonny: You know what, if you don't want my money, I don't really care what you think about my relationships. And this conversation is done.
[Knock on door]
Patrick: Happy birthday.
Robin: You remembered.
Patrick: Of course, I remembered. Is this a bad time?
Robin: Um, no. No, it's not a bad time. Yeah, Uncle Mac and Maxie, they threw me a little birthday party. It was really more for Emma. She had a good time. You know how she is with wrapping paper and cake.
Patrick: Yes, I do. Wish I would have seen her.
Robin: Well, I think Maxie took some pictures. You can go upstairs, she's sleeping. You can kiss her if you want to.
Patrick: It's probably better I let her sleep. I ordered this a few months ago. It came today. Kind of perfect timing.
Robin: Well, I didn't expect anything.
Patrick: Yeah, I bet you didn't. I didn't know what to do today. I was thinking about it all day. You know, I don't want to overstep your boundaries. I want to respect you. But I still want to listen to my heart. My heart said I want you to have it, so.
Robin: [Chuckles] It's that, uh, it's that necklace that that medicine woman was wearing.
Patrick: Yeah. I remembered being fascinated listening to you both speak, you two strong women of medicine. I ordered it when we got back to the hotel and you went for a swim.
Robin: You're such a skeptic, I thought you were tuning us out.
Patrick: I heard every word.
Robin: It's beautiful. Thank you. But, um, I don't think I can wear it for a while.
Patrick: That's okay. Take as much time as you need. I just wanted to come and say happy birthday. Tell you that I'm thinking about you.
Robin: Thank you.
Patrick: I'll go.
Lulu: Ahhh. Wow, here she is again..
Lulu: Brenda. Cartullo did a huge media buy on this whole spread.
Dante: You know, if she ever wanted to quit modeling, she'd have a career as Sonny's lawyer. You should have heard her defending him.
Lulu: I honestly don't think I could handle this Sonny thing as well as you do. You're constantly stuck in the middle. Like, do you protect your job or do you protect your dad?
Dante: Well, my job is winning, at least for now.
Lulu: Well, that's good. Pleas from a supermodel can't keep you from your duty as a cop.
Dante: She's convinced that he's like a really good man.
Lulu: Yeah, I think they call that denial.
Dante: You should have seen her. When I told her that he shot me, she barely batted an eyelash.
Lulu: That's about the time you wish you never came to Port Charles.
Dante: Well, then we never would have met each other.
Lulu: Oh, so you're glad that you met me.
Dante: You know, there's not that many women in the world that I would do dishes for.
Lulu: So you're saying I'm special?
Suzanne: Was that a threat? Because believe me, I've been strong-armed before. But keep it up. If you really want to alienate Brenda.
Sonny: Get to the point.
Suzanne: Stay away from Brenda.
Sonny: Isn't that up to Brenda?
Suzanne: Well, for some reason, she can't get past the stars in her eyes to see the truth about you. And consorting with a known criminal is bad for her credibility.
Sonny: Tell me the truth, are you worried about Brenda's credibility? Or your charity's cash flow.
Suzanne: Maybe they've become inextricably linked. Either way, the fact is, you're bad for Brenda.
Brenda: I don't need your protection. I don't want it.
Jason: I don't care what you want. I care about keeping you alive, that's it.
Brenda: Okay, good, then keep me alive somewhere else.
Jason: I told you I can't do that.
Brenda: Why can't you do that? Please explain to me why you can't do that. Because you are not a good bodyguard anywhere else in the world? Is that why, Jason? I mean, is it because you have the advantage here, or is because it's more convenient?
Jason: What is convenient about any of this?
Brenda: Well, it's your fault I'm here. You forced me to come here.
Jason: But you decided to go see Sonny. It didn't work out. It's not my fault. And don't tell me you don't need protection.
Brenda: I don't need protection. Do you have any idea, just think about this for a second, please. Do you believe that there is a difference between being dead emotionally and being dead physically? Because I will tell you, there is not! I have spent years of my life trying to forget this man and nothing has worked. And I'm here now because of you! And it's hurting me just like I told you it was going to hurt me!
Jason: Then don't go see him. Don't call, don't visit.
Brenda: Okay. Okay. Okay. I have to tell you something. This is worse than you can imagine.
Jason: What makes it worse?
Siobhan: Why would you drag me to another country?
Lucky: Why would you eavesdrop on my meeting? Why would you do something so stupid?
Siobhan: Just curious, I guess.
Lucky: Okay, look. Siobhan, you're in this now, whether you want to be or not. You understand that? I mean, if you stick around here, those men are going to find you and they're going to kill you. I already feel horrible for lying to you. How difficult are you going to be here? Come on, I'm offering you a trip to Rome together.
Siobhan: Oh, what an honor. I'd be the proudest girl in Rome.
Lucky: Stop fighting me.
Siobhan: Fine. You win. We'll go to Rome and we'll find Brenda Barrett.
Jax: Wow. What's this?
Carly: Thought we could use some alone time.
Jax: Well, we already had some very nice alone time earlier today.
Carly: Maybe I can't get enough of you.
Jax: You know none of this is necessary, right? 'Cause you have nothing to prove or no one to compete with.
Carly: I know.
Jax: Do you remember the day you tricked me into taking Michael and Morgan to Disneyworld?
Jax: I thought that you were going to come, and I had all these plans to romance you. And at the last minute you decided not to come, and you stuck me with two boys I hardly knew. Turns out to be, that was one of the best days I've ever had. Going on all the rides with them and loading them up with souvenirs.
Carly: I remember when you walked in the door, you were still wearing that wizard hat with the goofy ears coming out. And your business suit. And I thought I could love this man for the rest of my life.
Jax: That's part of our history. I wouldn't trade it. I wouldn't trade us. I wouldn't trade us for anything.
Sonny: Brenda is an adult now. If she wants to be with me, that's her call, not yours.
Suzanne: I thought you cared about her.
Sonny: So being with me reduces her fundraising potential. So what is it worth to you, 20,000? I'll sign a check right now. 50,000, 60,000.
Suzanne: Oh, you really are an arrogant son of a bitch.
Suzanne: Look, I know she came down to tell you that she's decided she's still in love with you. And you are probably feeling really good about yourself right now. But if you could get past your own selfish needs, you would man up and let her go.
Dante: So, uh, feel free to do whatever you normally do in your hotel room, and I'll just--
Brenda: Do you mind-- you could maybe just, you could wait inside.
Dante: Well, I don't know if you want a cop hanging out on your couch. My uniform will clash with the rug.
Brenda: It's just-- I can't fall asleep unless I hear somebody talking. So if you can just stay inside and talk to me. I mean, you don't even have to talk to me. You could just watch TV if you want.
Dante: Oh, you don't want to make an offer like that. I'm like the world's most obnoxious channel flipper. I'll just wait in the hall. I'll hit on the cleaning ladies and I'll shove anyone who tries to kill you.
Brenda: Well, if you're trying to make this easier on me, it's working.]
Jason: Just tell me why the Balkan's after you. Just explain it to me. You can get on a plane and never come back here.
Brenda: Okay. It's incredibly hard for me to just tell you, Ahh.. [Sighs] Just for me to tell you how hard it is for me to see Sonny--
Jason: Please answer the question, please. Why did the Balkan pick you, Brenda?!
Brenda: I don't expect you to care or understand what I'm going through, okay? Just forget it. I have other people I can call. I'm going to call someone else to come and guard me. And I appreciate everything you've done for me, I really do.
Brenda: I feel bad that you're sitting out there with nothing to eat. Do you want a snack?
Dante: Oh, wow, someone really likes you a lot.
Brenda: Yeah, I wouldn't say that. You could take whatever you want.
Dante: Well, I suppose I could, if you insist.
Brenda: Oh, I insist.
Dante: Can I take this home for my mother? She likes chocolate a lot.
Brenda: She does?
Brenda: You're going to take chocolate to your mother?
Dante: New York's finest, ma'am. Sweet but lethal.
Thanks! I was thinking...if it is easier for you to pick up where we are currently, rather than backtracking, feel free to do so. We realize it is a lot of work so if you want to skip the last two months that would be fine.
