We are shorting script of Wicked for staging privately. The thing is I want to know which scene you see long than it should be or a scene you find boring, etc. Thanks in advance. :D

Dancing through life, thank goodness, and wonderful could all have verses taken out. Apart from overall script shortening.

I agree with you but not so sure about dancing through life. How else do you think we can show Glinda's relationship with Fiyero? And what do you think about something bad?
Sorry for late replying

When I said dancing through life I meant like a verse of the song just skipping some lyrics. You can't get rid of something bad without adding some dialogue that REALLY stresses the plight of the Animals at which point I would just leave it in. But there is a lot of dialogue that could be cut throughout the script.

Taking verses out is hard at least to me because you have to change the music which is nearly impossible for me but I agree some dialogues could be shorter. I have actually convince my English teacher to do Wicked (local laws allows us to do a non-profit show of copyrighted show). So I have two choices one is to shorten a little bit and other option is to cut to show to 40 minutes.
To do the second option I have to choice carefully. There a few songs I decided to include(What is this feeling, Popular, Defying Gravity, shorten No Good Deed) I want to also include For Good and No One Mourns The Wicked. So any idea to shorten the plot would be great.
