Sorry I don't have the title. I promise to do better next week. Looking forward to posting/sharing thoughts after tonight's episode.

Brothers and Sisters...oh how I have missed thee! Tonight's premiere delivered on so many levels that I don't know where to begin. Which means the best place to start is the beginning.

I have to admit when I seen Justin and Rebecca swerving to miss the car I about peed on myself. My first thought was “No! Not Rebecca and Justin! I love them too much.” And naturally they cut away from the scene, rewind forty-eight hours and put us through torture all episode long, wondering how the pair was. Thankfully they are alright. A little shook up, but alright. That seemed to be the tone for them throughout the whole episode. Shook up but fine. Poor Justin is failing most of his classes and Rebecca's wedding plans are being pushed aside. For once, just once, I want Nora to shut up and stop telling her kids what to do. As a mother this is hard for me to say because I know the internal drive to shelter your child and make their lives easier. She is not doing that. She is CONTROLING!

Sadly Kitty does not seem to be fairing as well. First Robert freezes her out and then mocks the intimacy exercises outlined by their marriage counselor. If that wasn't enough her baby has been sick, on top of her not feeling well herself. And, don't hate me here, of course it looks to be cancer. Does ABC know how to do any other kind of illness? I mean no disrespect to cancer survivors but lately that is the only terminal illness they will touch. There are many others and hopefully one day they will bring attention to them. Hopefully Kitty will live to see this day because much as I didn't like her at the show she has grown on me.

Scotty raised some valid concerns, though left unsaid, when Kevin and he went to see that specialist. Kevin seemed overly obsessed with how high the mother's IQ would be while Scotty just wanted a child to love. Now, correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Kevin seem a bit obsessed with a person's brain? Did it ever occur to him that not everyone, Scotty included, has a super, duper high IQ like him? And that maybe, just maybe, its okay to be normal? Guess not. Props to Scotty for raising objections and saying he wanted to wait. Maybe he can talk some sense into his smarts obsessed hubby.

Not touching Nora this time. If I do I will go off. Okay. I have to go off! Why the heck can't she just let someone else do something for a change? First she barged into Holly's home to boss the piano players around, thus causing a piano to go through Holly's floor, and then she took over once again when the party had to be moved to her house. I also think that she had no right telling Holly how much they could or couldn't spend on a gift. At the same time I don't think Holly should have bought a car just because Nora gave Justin her grandmother's ring. Nora gave Justin the ring because 1) it was meant to be his all along and 2) she knew he couldn't afford to buy Rebecca one otherwise. Oye these two women drive me insane. Though I am partial to Holly myself. ;)
