I don't like her and I am not listening to this. I just wanted to say that I wish Mariah was this open to collaborators. Coldplay and Ed Sheeran are not the typical collaborators of R&B artists, and I am sure Mariah gets this kind of invitation, yet what we get is something with a has been rapper or a too late remix

^Why do you think she has this kind of invitations ? I actually doubt it that happens.

For example, I posted an article months ago where Steven Tyler stated he wanted to record a song with her, and he mentioned one or two Aerosmith songs where he thought she would sound good doing her vocal warbles.

Whether it would be good or not, a flop or not, it would be way more interesting than doing something with Busta Rhymes

^De acordo, but I doubt she gets formal invitations, like her manager contactes his/her manager or something like this. I think it happens more organically like you’re in a event and you mention that a collaboration would be nice and so on so on. The problem is that’s she rarely mingles... With the rappers though I’m sure it’s Mariah who picks them a la carte (and then they’re contacted by her manager). No mingling needed.

Beyonce not caring about her music being a hit when she just added herself onto an Ed Sheeran song is about as obscure a statement as Mario saying being petty isn't the answer.

Wrapped up in a shady tortilla

I haven't seen the entire speech yet, but I want to give Beyonce props for the parts of her speech honoring Colin Kaepernick that I have seen. Love it.

It seems that everybody who is somebody in this business wants to collaborate with Beyonce! The list seems to be endless. Sam Smith also said so in WWHL the other day. That's just unquestionable validation of her superstar power status right there.
