Please note that all download links have been removed. Please do not post download links in the future OR request them on the board.

This also goes for selling tracks or asking to buy tracks.

As per our board rules which can be read in full here the-fomm-rules-and-expectations-of-conduct-t24137.html

**8. Posting links to illegal download sites for any artist is strictly prohibited and will result in an official warning.**

From this point on, please be aware of this.

So, do you have a problem with this rule or not? I'm confused...

After Mariah was paid millions for her Pepsi sponsorship deal and for the purpose of making them available.

No but the point was was that releasing an album or single via record label is done with the intent of selling each individual copy and the necessary parties receive ongoing royalties etc (and yes upfront costs) but the business model is to put out a product, sell it, and be rewarded with royalties for as long as the product exists. And because it’s rare in this digital age for albums and singles to be made out of print, the stem packs / master recording are still worth money, valuable to the stakeholders, and their financial future haven’t been exhausted.

The Pepsi deal was probably an entirely different business model and contract. I don’t believe the ringtones were ever released for sale like on iTunes and even if they were they’re effectively “out of print” so the artist, nor Pepsi, the distributor, co-writers etc still have an active stake in them so sharing them around doesn’t impede on any due payments and thus wouldn’t warrant such an intervention from the mods.

That was my point.

And Shayne is probably going to ban you now anyway, so bye lamb.

Everyone else, it's not that serious.  We are still going to find out what leaks here because we are obviously going to discuss them here.  It's just the links aren't going to be posted in the forum.  Why is that so hard to understand?

They did this remix with the CLG stems. I think it's fantastic:

They are doing a remix project now after the "Stripped" one did so well.
